Ricki-Lee will headline this year’s Australia Day celebrations in Adelaide, which will be held in Elder Park on Friday 26 January 2018.
The Australia Day Parade, Concert and Fireworks are proudly presented by the City of Adelaide and expected to attract an audience of more than 35,000 people.
The Australia Day Parade will start from Franklin Street at 6pm and make its way to Elder Park via King William St.
From 7pm, the Australia Day in the City Concert kicks off in Elder Park with members of the Australian Defence Force firing a traditional 21 Gun Salute from the King William Street Bridge, in conjunction with a flag raising ceremony and RAAF fly-past.
The concert will feature Rikki-Lee, with a performance from Chris Sebastian.
RICKI-LEE is an ARIA Award nominated multi-platinum selling recording artist with an illustrious career that started when Australia fell in love with her on the second series of Australian Idol in 2004. Chris released his debut record Runaway in 2016 and has toured extensively as a support and headline act in some of the best rooms the music industry has to offer. Chris has recently also had the privilege of touring with Peking Duk as a touring vocalist. Don’t miss the finale when the sky above the City lights up with a spectacular fireworks finale presented by Aus Diamond Mining. The Australia Day in the City fireworks are provided by Foti Fireworks, who have extensive worldwide experience in Pyrotechnics, including Sydney New Years Eve, Perth Skyworks, the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy and many more.
