Australia Day Achievement Medallions and Lapel Pins

Australia Day Achievement Medallions and Lapel Pins are awarded in recognition of exceptional performance in special projects or core duties, by Government departments and agencies, not-for-profit organisations and corporate entities. 

The criteria for the awarding of Achievement Medallions and Lapel Pins is determined by each entity and varies considerably with the common theme of excellence in the workplace. Presentations to recipients generally take place at events in the lead up to or soon after Australia Day. Recipient names are published on the Australia Day website from mid-February each year.
