He has actively supported various historical societies and ex-service organisations through the contribution of quality research papers and biographical profiles. He is currently involved in an ongoing project documenting the involvement of Filipino-Australians in Australia’s military history. Paul has also run Anzac Heritage courses to promote an understanding of the Spirit of Anzac among Australian youth.
Since being medically discharged from the Army in 2011, he has actively promoted commemoration and reverent reflection through his Facebook site ‘Thanks Digger’.
‘Thanks Digger’ is increasingly becoming an effective portal for collaborative research with families, young Australians and organisations both nationally and internationally, and for promoting research outcomes.
